Thank You, Scott!!

Scott Sayre BBQ for Volunteers & Supporters
June 16, 2007

Scott addressed the crowd of approximately 100 volunteers and supporters who enjoyed a gorgeous Shenandoah Valley day, thanking them for their hard work.

Volunteers and supporters ate ... and then Scott ate.
It was lip-smackin' BBQ pork plus BBQ chicken, baked beans, potato salad, green beans, macaroni & cheese, 3-bean salad, cole slaw, fruit, and beverages. What a spread!

Jacob Parrish, 20, the campaign manager.

Jacob was amazing. Since he was a home school graduate and I was a home school mom, he and I quickly bonded. I was impressed with his maturity beyond his years in handling all that came along in a campaign that grew into something that was not expected ... a campaign that actually gave Emmett Hanger a run for his money. Working endless hours, often until 2 a.m., he was always on call for volunteers. Pressured by many, he handled it with patience and grace. He did a fantastic job ... and he's a computer expert with Excel and Access to boot! My thanks to Jacob. I hope you go far in the political world because we need principled young people such as yourself in the mix. Don't let anyone say you can't do it ... you can do it because you did do it!

Everyone signed the Sayre sign with best wishes and thanks for a great candidate.

SWAC Girl signed with the following....

Scott,
Once in a great while a special person comes along who stands out from the pack in the political world. You were that person at the right time and we thank you. When you are ready to run again, we are here to work for a conservative leader we believe in. Until then keep the faith.
