Attn Expo motocross fans: election of Expo board ... make your voice heard

Expoland in Fishersville (Augusta County) is a non-profit with four members of their Board now up for reelection. Below is the ballot that has been handed out by Expoland to paying, voting members. Four votes for board members; four names listed. Would you like to be a write-in candidate to join the board?

It costs $10 annually to become a voting member of Expoland. If interested in joining and having a say in the way they run the property, stop by Expoland at I-64 and Rt. 608 to pick up a form or contact Terry Argenbright.

The annual meeting is May 27, 2008. If motocross lovers want to save this area for recreational opportunities, they need to contact Terry Argenbright and become members of Expo, and turn out for next week's meeting.

NOTE:

-Your status as an active member of Augusta Agricultural-Industrial Exposition, Inc. is based on your membership dues being paid for the current year. If your dues are not paid as of the Monday, May 26, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. your vote will be destroyed and not counted.

-Your ballot may be invalid if “Conflict of Interest” term is not signed.

-Our office is closed on Mondays, but there is a mailbox at the front door of the office, if you plan on bringing your ballot on Monday.

-Ballots will be available at the annual meeting.
