Hateful media attacks on U.S. military

Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in a county where the media recognized the herorism of our military men and women who are at war in a foreign land protecting our freedoms? Instead, we have foreign and U.S. media outlets constantly working to undermine the mission of our troops.

A sample of the U.S. media's reporting about the miltiary:
VOICE OF AMERICA:
"Evidence US Military Tortured Detainees"

CHARLOTTE OBSERVER:
"Abuse of detainees routine at US bases in Afghanistan"

ABC NEWS:
"Bush Administration Committed "War Crimes"

AUSTIN AMERICAN STATESMEN:
"Former prisoners still feeling effects of US abuse, report says"

THE WASHINGTON INDEPENDENT
"Long-term Harm From US Torture"

PBS News Hour:
"Report Details Alleged Abuse of Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib Detainees."
The propaganda website Al Jazeera headlined, "US-Held Terror Suspects 'Abused.'"

Move America Forward is working to help our troops and their families here at on the homefront. They are not happy with the treatment of the military:
The media has given our enemies exactly what they wanted. The worst part is this: our troops, who are more than 7,000 miles away from home, will return to base later today and see these news reports. Yet another wave of hateful attacks from journalists who could never hope to muster even one-fourth the bravery, integrity and patriotism that are embodied by our American military men and women.

This is precisely why we at Move America Forward have traveled to Iraq 3 times now to tell our troops we support them. And it is why we are engaged in our current campaign to send the largest care package shipment to U.S. troops in history. We need for our troops to know that the liberal, anti-military media does not speak for us.

Please continue sponsoring care packages for our troops. We will send over goodies from home, personal comfort items, and a personalized note from you. Please tell our troops how much you appreciate them and support them. Sponsor a care package for our men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.
May God bless our troops ... and may God bless America.
