They wiped them out for a while but now we can hear them howling at night from the surrounding ridges.<br /><br />In our area they have killed livestock, deer, and pets by gutting their kill and leaving the carcass.<br /><br />I've not seen them in Shenandoah National Park, thank goodness.Lynn R. It was right around the Skyland complex in the early morning before dawn.<br /><br />They are taking down livestock in the area though. I've heard quite a few stories.
