600 Augusta County residents turned out Tuesday nightto protest huge real estate assessments.
Thanks to Nelson Country Life magazine for calling attention to the tax revolution going on in Augusta County. In Augusta Residents Now Fighting Huge Property Tax Assessments, they recall their own battle last year and wish their neighbors west of the mountain the best in their fight. We thank them for their support.
Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at 7:00 pm at the Government Center in Verona to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting. Francis Chester will turn in the petitions at that time that have been collected from throughout the county.
