Flip-flopping liberals

Hmmm ... Jerry at From On High hits the nail on the head again. He says:
It seems like only yesterday that we were hearing this kind of thing from America's leftists:

"Dissent is the highest form of patriotism."

Today?

Well, now, suddenly, dissent is ... "unhealthy."
Read what the liberals are saying about the tea parties and the people who participated in them.

Seems to me the flip-flopping is happening on BOTH sides.

During in the Bush era, to disagree with your president or government was un-American and meant that you hated your country, and might even be a traitor who should be watched.

Now, dissent is again patriotic and suddenly those protesting the actions of their government want to liken themselves to those who conducted the Boston Tea Party - despite the fact that, unlike the partipants in the Boston Tea Party, today's party goers have ample representation. They just happen to be in the minority this time because most of their guys lost. LOL

There's definitely hypocrisy going on here, but it's on BOTH sides, not just left or right.

"Jerry at From On High hits the nail on the head" Heh. Seriously? Maybe you mean he's hit his own head.

"For the thousandth time, it's not about taxes,"
Seriously? If these off message, disorganized rallies held on April 15th, and called "Tea Parties" for their apparent symbolism were "not about taxes," then you all are more hilarious than I though.
