Ernesto and campaign season....

Traditionally, hurricanes have broken droughts in Virginia. Ernesto is no different. Steady rain overnight and cooler temperatures made for good sleeping as moisture-starved plants bounced back after weeks of hot, dry weather. And it's just in time for the kick-off of the political season ... makes it much easier to put those campaign signs in the ground when it's been softened by rain....
