Tonight's full moon was orange-colored as it rose over the Blue Ridge Mountains, making its way up through the woods on the ridge behind our house.
As it peeked over the ridge, it was barely visible through the winter woods ...
... and as it rose higher in the sky, the orangy color began to turn into a full white moon brilliantly shining over the Shenandoah Valley ... the last full moon of 2011. What a beautiful sight!
