"Ask the Candidate:" McDonnell joins T-D online video chat today

Got a question for Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell? The Richmond Times-Dispatch invites Virginia residents to submit questions for today's "Ask the Candidate" online video chat to take place this afternoon.

Bloggers United Debate: McDonnell says yes, Deeds says no

Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell accepted an offer from Bloggers United to debate his Democrat opponent, Creigh Deeds, during an upcoming event. However, word has been received that Mr. Deeds will not be participating in that debate.

A statement from Jim Hoeft at Bearing Drift, the organizer for Blogs United:

While I am disappointed that the Deeds campaign has turned away from the online community, and its increasingly growing readership, I am confident that other campaigns and speakers will be interested in participating at our venue.

Also note that the Deeds campaign has indicated that they are not interested in participating in the Politico/YouTube proposed debate.
