NY Gathering of Eagles moonbat alert - recruiting station attack

From Dan Maloney, State Coordinator, NY Gathering of Eagles....

Fighting the Insurgency at Home ... Action Alert
Major Hardcore Insurgent Street Protest at Times Square Recruiting Station!

The hardcore domestic insurgents are planning a rally outside the Recruiting Station at Times Square on Saturday, August 2nd at High Noon. They are putting out the word to bring their lemmings and stooges in from all the surrounding areas. Early estimates are that they will be able to have a turnout in the neighborhood of 2-3,000 at this event. We need a strong turnout to prevent the radicals from damaging the station or claiming to have shut it down.

We will arrive before the moonbats at 11:00 am to secure the area.

Where: Armed Forces Recruiting Station, Times Square. West 43rd St and Broadway.

Maplink: http://tinyurl.com/58gnz4

When: Saturday, August 2, 2008, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

The insurgent theme for this event is "Stop War On Iran" with red octagonal shaped images on their signs. If you have the time to make up signs we suggest a "GO Victory" or "GO Army, Navy, Marines or Air Force" theme. Use the color green as much as possible. Use your creativity to come up with other patriotic statements on road sign themes. Possibilities include Stop Treason, Stop Domestic Insurgency, Yield to Victory, etc... Try to keep sign messages short and to the point to be more effective.

The link to the insurgent website is here.Check their listing for local actions for New York or other state in case they are planning an action in your city or town.

Bring friends, fellow patriots and American flags to show the radicals they are not welcome at the Times Square Recruiting Station. If you are coming to Times Square, do not bring any wooden or metal flagpoles. They are not permitted. Get a five to ten foot length of 1" PVC pipe to serve as a flagpole and use plastic tie wraps to secure your flag to the pole.

Hey Moonbats ... President Bush is celebrating new American citizens

Update: Welcome to Charlottesville, President Bush

Soon after it was announced several days ago that President Bush will be speaking at Monticello for the annual Independence Day citizenship swearing-in ceremony, the Charlottesville Center for Peace & Justice (CCP&J) expressed its intent to stage protests at Monticello, to disrupt Bush's appearance, referring to him as a "war criminal" and a "fascist, blood-soaked murderer."
Even more dismaying, the CCP&J is attempting to justify its actions by implying that Thomas Jefferson would approve of its beliefs and actions.

For many years, the CCP&J has enjoyed a relatively criticism-free existence. After all, who could possibly be opposed to a group that is (supposedly) devoted to "peace" and "justice"? Many non-leftists in central Virginia, however, oppose the CCP&J's hate-filled, vicious propaganda, which vilifies America and its leadership, military personnel, economic system and founding principles – while excusing or ignoring the shocking actions and ideologies of our most dangerous enemies. And many are troubled by the fact that the CCP&J has been given (de facto) carte blanche to proselytize in our schools, while groups wishing to present opposing opinions and information have faced increasing bureaucratic hurdles.

The time for looking the other way while the CCP&J gets a "free pass" is over, especially now that it is planning to disrupt what is, and should be, a non-partisan event at Thomas Jefferson's beloved home. For as Edmund Burke (1729-1797) stated so well, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

In the interests of doing something, the blog "Welcome To Charlottesville, President Bush" was created, to contain a variety of useful information with which to counter the CCP&J's actions and propaganda.

If you agree that this information should be considered as we approach America's 232nd birthday – particularly here in Charlottesville, one of the proverbial "cradles of liberty" – please forward it along to your friends. And if you have particular information that you think should be added to this blog, please leave a detailed comment -- or even better, become a guest writer.

Email your suggestions to tj411cville@gmail.com for consideration.Thank you.

"We are not afraid to follow truth wherever it may lead, nor to tolerate any error so long as reason is left free to combat it." --Thomas Jefferson to William Roscoe, 1820

What an honor! President Bush spends last 4th in office at Monticello

What an honor for Virginia! President George W. Bush will spend his last 4th of July in office at Monticello in Albemarle County. Out of anywhere he could be throughout this great nation of ours, he will be here in the Commonwealth.

However ... the moonbats have put out the word to all liberal leftists out there to disturb the festivities. They have called for blocking entrances, meeting in parking lots, blocking roadways, yelling and shouting, and anything else they can do to disrupt what should be a non-partisan event of swearing in new U.S. citizens.

The moonbats plan to ruin an important and memorable event for those who moved to this country, studied hard, and earned their right to become naturalized citizens.

Welcome to Charlottesville President Bush blog is getting the word out to any Patriots who can make their way to Charlottesville to show President Bush that we are thankful for his leadership. We need to counter the moonbats who cannot even take a day off from their hateful demonatrations to celebrate the birth of our country. That is because most of them hate America and think we are to blame for anything that goes wrong in the world.

Stop them! Go to Welcome to Charlottesville President Bush each day this week for continuous updates on where to meet, what to do, and even a sample placard to use.

Spread the link to the blog to everyone you know and let them know what is going on.

And be sure to bring LOTS of American flags! The other side doesn't know what an American flag is except to display it upside down, with the outline of a dove on it, or as a "token" to critics who call them on their lack of flags.

Come out and warmly greet President Bush on Friday.

Iraq war veteran & family assaulted by anti-war protesters

[From Dan Maloney, NY State Coordinator, Gathering of Eagles]

For the second time in as many weeks, an Iraq War Veteran and his family held a Support the Troops rally across the street from the weekly “peace” protest in this college town. This week the true nature of the ‘peace’ activists was revealed for all to see. When the veteran’s 14 year old son crossed the street to videotape the protesters and their signs, the protesters became agitated and began harassing the boy. The right to record video in any public venue is long established in law and any attempt to interfere with that right is a violation of civil rights.

Vietnam Wall Memorial -- update on vandalism report

Michelle Malkin and Bryan Preston went to examine the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC yesterday to assess the damage and the explanation that is being purveyed (Vietnam Wall Memorial vandalized in D.C.). Ms. Malkin writes:
Over the weekend, something happened here at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. Something destructive. Something dishonorable.
Come join us this Saturday in Washington, DC, to remind these America-hating organizations that there are things that we consider sacred. There are things that we will defend to our last breath. The memory of our fallen heroes is one of those things.
