Mitt Romney won the
Maine Republican Caucus held this weekend in a 2-to-1 vote over John McCain:
Mitt Romney coasted to a win in presidential preference voting by Maine Republicans on Saturday, claiming his third victory in a caucus state and fourth overall.
The former Massachusetts governor had 52 percent of the vote with 68 percent of the towns holding caucuses reporting. John McCain trailed with 21 percent, Ron Paul was third with 19 percent, and Mike Huckabee had 6 percent. Undecided votes accounted for 2 percent.
Even with his "front runner" status, McCain only eeked past Ron Paul by TWO percent to claim second place.
ReplyDeleteWhy does the media continue to try to freeze-out Ron Paul, when there is clearly significant interest in his campaign from the citizens?
I like Mitt, I also like McCain, but Ron Paul is the man who I would like to lead this country into the future, with a new foreign policy, smaller federal government and MORE FREEDOM for our citizens!
