Almost every nation's intelligence agencies, American, British, and Russian intelligence, U.N. intelligence, and even prominent Democrats shared the Bush Administration's view that Iraq posed a grave and imminent threat to America's security, that sanctions and resolutions were not working, and that force was necessary to disarm and remove Saddam from power.
President Bush's famous 16-word statement in his 2003 State of the Union that Iraq had been seeking uranium ore from Africa was factually correct and confirmed by the Senate Bi-Partisan Intelligence Committee and British Pre-War Intelligence Report.
The only proven liar was former ambassador and partisan Democrat Joe Wilson who lied when he claimed that Vice President Cheney had asked him to go to Niger on a "fact finding trip."
