Staunton 4th of July ... Smalltown U.S.A.

If you want to spend a heart-warming 4th of July with a celebration in a small town where they have not forgotten patriotism and love of country ... be sure to join us in Staunton for the 4th of July week!

Thursday, July 3 - Gypsy Hill Park
5:00 pm - Concessions open
6:00 pm - Vesper Service, Gazebo
7:00 pm - Concert at Gazebo - Ivan Parker with special guest Janet Paschal

Friday, July 4 - Gypsy Hill Park
7:00 am -
5K race.
8:00 am - Crafts and concessions open
8:00 am - Republican booth open from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm. Located near Gazebo. SWACers will be manning the booth all day and into the night. Bring a lawn chair, stop by, and chat!
10:00 am - 4th of July Parade. Lineup on Thornrose Avenue; parade route will travel the two-mile road through Gypsy Hill Park. All Republican elected officials will be represented as well as Congressman Bob Goodlatte who is sponsoring the Republican float for Goodlatte for Congress, McCain for President, and Gilmore for Senate.
12:00 Noon - Mountain Horn Sax Band - Gazebo
1:00 pm - Colgate Country Showdown
3:00 pm - Mike Helper
4:00 pm - Glen Shelton
5:45 pm - Flag Ceremony
6:00 pm - South Bound Trio
8:00 pm - Colin Raye Concert
10:00 pm - Fireworks! Can be seen throughout Gypsy Hill Park, along Churchville Avenue, and most places around the city. Fireworks set off at Moxie Baseball Stadium behind Gypsy Hill.

Saturday, July 5
9:00 am -
Craft and concessions open. Car Show.
11:00 am - Senior Bingo and Ice Cream Social
2:00 pm - Johnny Clifton Band
