The always popular Gov. George Allen attended Saturday's New Media Roundtable discussion at the 2009 RPV Advance in Williamsburg. A good sport, he rolled with the punches when I stopped while moderating the workshop to recognize his presence and take a blog photo. The overflow crowd applauded as he rose and told a joke about his beloved Redskins ... the room roared with laugher ... and there was more applause as he sat down to take in the remainder of the workshop. It was priceless. Thanks, Governor!
Just after the start of the workshop, I had seen the Governor working his way across the back of the ampitheater and snapped his photo.
