Winter poetry ...

Winter's beauty inspired a friend to put words to paper....

Winter
Schools are closed, slippery driveways,
Neighbor digging out, the storm has past.
Frosted picnic tables and porches hide
Beneath winter's frozen blanket.

And there beyond my window sill
Is a birdfeeder, above the snow.
Hanging from an old rugged tree, a reminder
That God always provides for His little ones.
