White House claims Dems were not avoiding Obama during Va bus tour

So says @PressSec Jay Carney at today's gaggle, anyway...
From Politico:

"White House press secretary Jay Carney disputed in today's gaggle that Virginia and North Carolina Democrats are taking cover for the duration of President Barack Obama's bus tour. His spin: Obama's trip wasn't designed for campaign purposes anyway and, besides, Tim Kaine appeared with him pretty recently..."

In the meantime, let's remember the four new members of the Puckett Caucus - four Democratic State Senators who won't say if they'll vote for President Obama in 2012.

"Sen. William Roscoe Reynolds (D-Franklin), Sen. R. Edward Houck (D-Spotsylvania), [Sen. George] Barker, [D-Fairfax]  and [Sen.Toddy] Puller, [D-Mount Vernon,] also declined to say if they would vote for Obama next year..."
