Sarah Palin draws a crowd wherever she goes. Fishersville Mike has a photo of her with some of the 1,000 people who turned out for her picnic in Wasilla.
The Democrats fear her as they continue vicious attacks against her, moderate Republicans fear her as they stab her in the back ... and conservative Americans love her.
Something tells me the best is yet to come for Sarah Palin.

As we prepare to celebrate our freedom and the splendor of this great nation, let us bask in the glory and honor we share as fellow Americans and recognize all who have given of themselves to protect our freedom. Actress Janine Turner part of Team Sarah!
A message to all members of Team Sarah ...
First, a warm welcome to the almost 2,000 members who joined us today!
Many of you found out about Team Sarah courtesy of member Janine Turner's appearance on FOX News. Thank you Janine, you rock!
For those who are new here, Team Sarah is a diverse coalition of women dedicated to advancing Sarah Palin's Vice Presidential candidacy. Men are welcome too!
Team Sarah was created almost exactly one month ago, when 30 or so women joined together to launch a virtual community that would mobilize supporters for Gov. Palin ... and the values which she so nobly represents.
From this small beginning, Team Sarah grew by word of mouth to 5,000 members ... in just a month. Vibrant, active members. Not spectators. Not commentators. Players!
We now have 82 active groups. A press conference in Manchester, NH! (Go TeamSarah NH!) And Team Sarah members volunteering at local victory centers across the country!
Our members did this with their own smarts and dedication and ... sometimes, sass! Initially, the Team grew just by word of mouth.
Then ... it was helped along by blogs. By Erick Erickson on RedState.com. And by a great piece by KLo in National Review Online. And now by Janine's help on Fox.
But the core of our growth has always been, and will always be, friends inviting friends. So -- new members and old -- now is the time.
We had a goal that our community could grow itself to 10,000 members by election day. We know can do it!
At 10,000 our momentum will be huge. At 10,000 ... we're bigger than Wasilla, Alaska!
And we all know the the gift that Wasilla gave the world. Yes. Mayor, then Governor, and soon, Vice President Sarah Palin!
So old and new members, invite friends to join Team Sarah today!

Team Sarah invaded by trolls ...

A gang of ugly trolls invaded Team Sarah last night, taking over the chatroom and spreading vulgar language and vile content.
Our small but gallant team fought them off during the wee hours, banning the worst offenders and temporarily closing down our Chat Room.
We thank and commend those of you who helped us fight back and reported the abuses so we could ban the offenders. You all rock!
Why did this happen last night? The final debate? Because we got our 5,000th member? Or maybe...
Team Sarah just got a MAJOR mention in the print media, with a column by KLo
in the latest issue of National Review.
Team Sarah is now OVER 5,000 members strong -- in under a month -- with almost a third of a MILLION page views.
Our presence is intolerable to certain people. What the invaders want, of course, is to offend and intimidate us and drive you away from here. Boy, do they ever have Team Sarah members wrong!
We know that they are afraid that by election day Team Sarah could double in size -- from over 5,000 to 10,000 ...
... which WILL happen if each of us recruits just ONE more friend as member now ...
... and at 10,000, they know that we will emerge with much greater power -- an unstoppable force for the values that Sarah Palin and we all hold sacred.
So recruit one friend. Today! And lets hit that 10,000 member mark! More exciting developments coming up. Thanks for being here!

I joined Team Sarah
I received an invitation yesterday from Suzanne Curran, a fellow Republican from up in Shenandoah County, asking me to join Team Sarah:
