Augusta County's Rt. 608 resurfaced

Finally! They resurfaced Rt. 608 in Augusta County from I-64 through Stuarts Draft. The section between I-64 and Rt. 340 was downright dangerous with patching over the painted lane lines making it especially difficult to see them on rainy nights, and the patchwork blacktop had resulted in an uneven road surface. It's smooth sailing now!

That has to be one of the most dangerous highways I have ever driven on. Just a couple of weeks ago, a girl hit a man in a head-on collision on that same route.

Problem is, a lot of people tend to drive 30mph on that road, leaving some frustrated drivers no choice but to pass.

But passing on 608 is like playing russian roulette - while there are passing lanes, it's still very dangerous to do so.
