I just finished my 30-minute shift of the ongoing reading of the 2,400-page health care bill that is a project of the Republican Party of Virginia. Volunteers are reading around the clock for the next 40+ hours. Listen to it live at www.RPV.org/ReadTheBill.I had pages 66-90 ... and what a bunch of gobbly-gook. "Subsection iii" ... "paragraph A" ... this and that. Sheesh.
Now I'm going to spend a few minutes re-reading the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, those foundations upon which our country was built that are only a fraction of the size of this monstrosity.
