Read the Bill! My time slot is Wednesday morning at 10:00

I'm lined up to READ THE BILL out loud on Wednesday morning from 10-10:30 a.m. Please join me and help as Virginians READ THE BILL beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday and continuing in 30-minute shifts through Thursday night or until it's finished.

If Congressional members cannot read the bill for themselves, everyday Americans will read it out loud for them. Volunteers across Virginia will read all 2,400 pages of the health care bill out loud in 30-minute shifts, a process that will be ongoing day and night for almost 48 hours. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, it will be live-streamed at www.RPV.org/ReadTheBill to anyone with a computer at home, work, school, Congressional offices, laptops ... anywhere.

Want to help?
Folks are needed who are willing to help read the bill from home. If you are willing to volunteer to help read a few pages of the bill, please call 804-780-0111 or email Dave.Rexrode@RPV.org today and provide your name and phone number, and someone will call you to determine a specific, 30-minute shift for you to volunteer that will best help our efforts. You will be provided with a copy of the bill and a special call-in number.
