USA Today reported:
The crash occurred in Shah Wali Kot, a district of Kandahar province, the heartland of the Taliban insurgents. The Black Hawk, the Army's workhorse helicopter for transporting troops and gear, burned after the crash. Nobody survived.Prayers go out to the families of those who were killed. Freedom is not free....
Update: Two more American troops were killed Friday when an Afghan security force member turned his gun on them.
