It's kind of hard to see the flying snow in this photo taken this afternoon but it was on-and-off all day, sometimes so heavy and horizontal in the after-Hurricane Sandy winds that it looked almost like white-out conditions. It was beautiful but did not impede travel as temperatures hovered in the mid-30s. I was out and about all day with no trouble at all.
Last year we had the Halloween snow that left 3" of the white stuff on the ground so it could have been worse. It's October in the Valley....
