One of my favorite stops while delivering George Allen materials is the Waynesboro GOP headquarters located in Willow Oak Shopping Center on Broad Street. Always manned by dedicated volunteers, it's good to visit with old friends and talk with supporters coming in for Mitt Romney, George Allen, and Bob Goodlatte yard signs as well as bumper stickers and other materials.
Thursday there were two from Augusta County working the desk and greeting the steady stream of visitors. For residents who live in the eastern part of the county, Waynesboro is closer both for volunteering and picking up materials.
There were plenty of Romney signs and, even though I restocked Allen signs, they were almost gone after two hours. The supply of Goodlatte signs was also almost depleted.
We're in the home stretch leading to November 6th....
