At least there's one small local victory - Food Lion's credit card machines no longer ask for English.

PS - check out my latest blog about the protest in DC on March 17th.

That's a great post, Steve. I've got the same information to put up on SWAC Girl.

We are going to plan a big rally that day here in Staunton because the anti-war protesters are always out at the Courthouse every year on the anniversary of going into Iraq. Last year they got mad because they said we got "their" corner at Johnson and Augusta Streets. If you don't go to D.C., consider coming out and joining us.

What I find ironic is the anti-war people were out before we went into Iraq. We were out, too, with our support the troops signs and American flags and when we questioned their support of the troops, they said they wouldn't protest once soldiers were on the ground.

Well ... we all know how long THAT lasted.

Steve ... I'm going to blogroll you on SWAC Girl if that's okay with you. I like your common sense stand on national security. Besides, you're a Military Dad with your daughter at Parris Island. Semper Fi!
