Much has been made of Al Gore, his "Inconvenient Truth" movie about alleged manmade global warming, and the Academy Award he won for that movie. Admittedly I have not seen it -- I get enough propaganda through regular media outlets without having to pay money and subject myself to two hours of torture listening to what I consider to be falsehoods and suppositions.
With all the publicity about the Academy Award, the Nashville-based Tennessee Center for Policy Research delved into Al Gore's personal living habits and released stinging reports about his excessive energy use at home, traveling, and elsewhere. But what was really eye-opening was information about how environmentally correct President George W. Bush's ranch house was in Texas ... something I haven't heard headlined in the mainstream media.
I liked RightsideVA's well-researched post about this subject. He compared the Bush and Gore homes and showed the hypocrisy of Gore ... he can talk the talk but he can't walk the walk.
