116th Stonewall Brigade ... a final farewell.....

After the Departure Ceremony, final farewells were said as those leaving lined up at the buses, snatching a final hug from a child ... a final kiss from a spouse ... quiet last-minute assurances that each would be okay....

Across the street from the Armory the folks at Grace Christian Elementary School waved farewell, displaying a sign that said, "We will pray for the 116th."

As the buses drove away....




... all that was left were American flags and a reminder to "Win the War!"

God speed to all the members of the Stonewall Brigade....
