Is seniority a reason to continue the same old leadership?

Jamie at V*CAP has posted Does Senator Hanger Deserve Re-Election Strictly Based on Seniority? She makes some very valid points including:

Senator Hanger voted for a $1.4 billion tax increases, voted for a Transportation Plan that raised taxes and fees on his constituents while doing nothing to help Truck Route-81 (Sayre jargon) in his District, voted to increase the gax tax by 5% (that is right folks, you could be paying upwards of $3.50 or more for your gas right now if Hanger had his way), supports giving illegal aliens in-state tuition to our state colleges, and kills all school choice bills.
