A taste of fall is in the air as we woke up this morning to see it was 52 degrees outside.
We had opened the windows Friday night in anticipation of the forecasted low moving through that promised lower temps and lower humidity ... and, sure enough, yesterday was a gorgeous day. With clear skies and a breeze out of the north, the temperature topped out at 74 and the mountains were clear and not hazy....
We worked in the yard all Saturday. Who could not? It was perfect for being outdoors doing the kinds of things that need to be tended to ... but today the mountains call so we may end up on a ridge somewhere. It promises to be a repeat of yesterday....
Fall is on its way....
