Vets for Freedom on Fox News respond to traiterous MoveOn.org ad in NY Times

Breaking ...

Pete Hedgseth, Executive Director of Vets for Freedom, appeared this morning on Fox News Channel to speak out against the traiterous full-page MoveOn.org ad in today's New York Times.

The ad, which features a photo of General David Petreaus, who has served this country for 35 years with honor, distinction, and integrity, asks the question:
"General Petraeus or General Betray Us? Cooking the books for the White House."
In an unusual move for a White House that generally refrains from discussing such things, Tony Snow, spokesman for the President, addressed the issue by calling the ad borish, childish, and unworthy ... and he called on members of Congress to condemn it.

Gen. Petraeus is to present his report on Iraq today to Congress. Isn't running an ad on the same day a little preemptive? Disingenuous? Un-American?

We owe a debt of gratitude to veterans such as Pete Hedgseth who have been to Iraq, have fought the enemy, and who are willing to publicly stand up to say, "Support the mission. Surrender is not an option!"
