Super Tuesday analysis

The SWAC political junkies attended an Augusta County Republican Committee meeting last night and afterwards talked politics while watching the Super Tuesday returns coming in from throughout the nation.

There is something energizing about discussing politics with others who are equally into it ... analyzing the numbers and discussing scenarios of what could happen and defending one's candidate. It was a friendly, jovial group of grassroots volunteers who have worked together through thick and thin throughout the years.

While many have commented on last night's results, I especially liked this wrap-up by Chris Green at Spank That Donkey. Tuesday's votes proved that Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee together could have stopped John McCain, and Chris proves that out in his post.

Now we go into the Virginia primary next Tuesday....
