The youth factor and Mitt Romney

A young conservative friend of my son's, here for Super Bowl afternoon, always engages in political conversation when he's over. This former Giuliani supporter was talking with me today about the presidential race -- I have had no conversation with him since Giuliani dropped out -- and he is going for Mitt Romney. A number of young people I know are now in the Romney camp ... and you can bet they will vote on February 12.

While attending the Americans For Prosperity "American Dream" conference in D.C. in September, we had the opportunity to hear from seven presidential candidates including Mitt Romney. What struck me at the time was the number of young people who were for him, identified by the Romney lapel stickers they were wearing. The CRs and YRs I interact with back that up. It will be interesting to see what the Romney youth vote ends up being.
