Tuesday night’s electoral results represent a new record for candidates for governor in Virginia.
According to UVA’s Center for Politics, the more than 1.1 million votes cast for Bob McDonnell are the most in the history of the Commonwealth. George Allen, by the way, was the first candidate to surpass one million votes.
