Apparently the Washington Post could not -- or would not -- see 23,000 cheering Republican supporters as they downplayed the McCain-Palin event in Fairfax City on Wednesday.
Mark Hemmingway at The National Review's Not Necessarily the News reported that "the Washington Post seems to be downplaying the McCain-Palin rally in its backyard. But the bigger crime may be how the Washington Post article on the rally was written.
Let's just do a by numbers comparison:
Number of paragraphs in the Washington Post story: 14
Number of paragraphs about pro-Obama protesters: 8
Number of McCain-Palin supporters present: 23,000
Number of Obama protesters: about 30
You do the math. "
