Liberal "Coffee Parties" fall short

Proclaiming that the Richmond "Coffee Party" kickoff was a "success" when just 28 people turned out, a Democrat blogger seemed determined to make the best of a failed attempt to duplicate the tea party movement.

In St. Louis, Gateway Pundit reports that only 30 people showed up for a "Coffee Party" rally. Apparently in North Carolina a "Coffee Party" rally saw FIVE people turn out.

Libs are missing the entire point of the tea party movement which is a projection of something felt deeply by those who love their country and are fearful of the direction it has gone since Barack Obama took office. They are passionate about their desire to protect the freedoms we have enjoyed since 1776.

Tea party rallies have turned out hundreds of thousands the past year. The 9/12 March on Washington saw 1.2 conservtives show up at the Capitol.

The liberal "Coffee Party" turned out a couple dozen people. Will they give the tea party a run for its money?

Stay tuned....

This is just too funny! Sorry, maybe I shouldn't laugh, but I just can't help it.

Tom, you are correct. Where the tea parties spontaniously sprang to life through the passionate love and concern of Americans for their country, the "coffee party" is merely trying to get revenge ... and that does not work.

Joy, it is funny that the "coffee party" is trying to duplicate the tea party movement. They don't have the passion that drives the American people who are truly concerned about the future of their country.
