The public is invited to celebrate the opening of Staunton's Frontier Culture Museum's Igbo Farm Village on Saturday, September 18, at 11:00 with special guests and museum staff. This addition to the Irish, German, English, and American farms has been two years in the making, as reported in the Staunton News Leader, with many hands on deck to reproduce the most accurate dwelling possible. It's going to be a memorable day in the life of the Frontier Culture Museum.
"Nkiru ka" ... Igbo adage meaning, "What lies ahead is greater."
