Bob McDonnell on short VP list for GOP

It happened again this week ... Politico had a story with the short list of possible future Republican vice presidential candidates:

From its highest levels to the grass roots, the GOP is buzzing over Marco, Bobby and Susana, as well as more than a half-dozen other junior Republican officeholders who have captured the party’s imagination in ways that the current 2012 presidential field hasn’t come close to doing.

That's our Bobby who's mention ... otherwise known as Governor Bob McDonnell ... who won by a whopping 17% in the 2009 gubernatorial election one short year after Barack Obama rose to the White House. Could Gov. McDonnell's future include time spent in that same White House?
