Anti-war protesters

The Staunton area anti-war protesters who have been hitting the streets of downtown Staunton since March 19, 2003, to protest the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan now have another military engagement to protest.

Democratic President Barack Obama initiated American military action on Saturday, March 19, in Libya -- exactly eight years after the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Now the anti-war protesters can add it to their list of wars. One organizer of the protest in Staunton said we've lost soldiers and spent billions of dollars for nothing ... others would call it standing up for freedom and protecting the American homeland from further terrorist attacks like those of 9/11/01.

Support our troops ... fly an American flag ... thank a veteran ... help a military family ... welcome home a hero.
