Overnight snow in Valley ... Augusta schools on 2-hour delay

Another clipper went through the Shenandoah Valley last night causing just enough snow and iced-over roadways to delay schools and make for tricky morning commutes.

There are mountains behind that treeline but they are shrouded in foggy conditions as temperatures hover just below freezing.

The wet snow coated tree limbs and stuck to surfaces. The real weather story this weekend will take place in New England where snow totals of historic proportions are expected.
