The Skyline Drive, that scenic byway that runs through Shenandoah National Park, is receiving a partial face lift, according to the Waynesboro News Virginian.
The $1.9 million project, scheduled to take up to a year to complete, will begin with the section that runs from Thornton Gap entrance station at Rt. 211 to the Swift Run entrance station at Rt. 33. Delays will be common so visitors may want to avoid that area.
