McCain rally in Richmond draws huge crowds....

A Valley CR who attends the University of Richmond called a while ago to say she had attended the John McCain rally in Richmond this evening, and that it was packed with people. She arrived 45 minutes early and found one of the last parking places available at the Aviation Museum located on the outskirts of the Richmond Airport.

Our own Delegate Chris Saxman was there along with Jim Gilmore, George Allen, Jerry Kilgore, and others who endorsed John McCain's candidacy for president.

Valley CR also said the place was packed with media of all types and forms. She was on I-64 heading home so she can vote in tomorrow's primary before returning to UR, and said she would send photos over of the rally to be posted on SWAC Girl.

It was good to hear from her. She attended high school in the Valley and was one of the Teenage Republicans (TARs) who worked at GOP headquarters for the Bush and Kilgore campaigns. She calls often when she is in town and it is always a pleasure to hear from her. She is another of our conservative youth, the future of the Republican Party.
