Icy rain in western Augusta ... Day 2



Woodstove has been cranking out heat to counter the chill....

Weight of ice bowed trees and bushes.







We are on Day 2 of icy rain in western Augusta County. With a temp of 34 degrees this morning, the forecast promises rising temps throughout the day. Because of warm temps over the weekend, ice was not able to form on most roadways which was a blessing. Instead, we were treated to icy branches and fences which made a pretty winter scene.

It's winter in the Shenandoah Valley....
