The day-after-Christmas snow in the Valley

Looking out the window this morning, it was a winter wonderland.

We woke up with 2-3 inches of snow and more coming down. Forecasters said the Shenandoah Valley will have a wintry mix on this day after Christmas.

By 10 a.m. the temperature had dropped from 31 to 28 degrees with a snow-sleet mixture.

We don't have anywhere to go so everyone is snugged in with board games, internet, books, and movies. A little later there will be sledding and hot chocolate and maybe a bonfire. Lots of precipitation is heading our way ... it will be an interesting weather day.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
