Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, who was born in the Philippines while his parents served as missionaries, is stepping up to help victims in the country devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.The humanitarian relief is in coordination with Tebow's father's foundation, the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association, that builds churches and cares for orphaned children in the Philippines.
The Tim Tebow Foundation has activated a donation link so people can help those in need. Mr. Tebow has also made the Philippines one of the primary beneficiaries of his outreach programs, First Coast News reported.
