Tea Party Express bus egged in Nevada ... message being delivered to DC

First Amendment rights for thee.... The Tea Party Express and crowds estimated up to 30,000 met Saturday in Searchlight, NV, home of Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who helped jam health care reform down the throats of America, to kick off the latest "Tea Party Express -- Just Kick Them Out" cross-country tour to bring attention to ObamaCare and other overreaching government programs. They were reportedly met with eggs thrown at the bus by those who oppose their freedom of speech as Democrat SEIU members held directional signs pointing attendees in the wrong direction.

The Tea Party Express is carrying a message throughout America:

“You, the politicians in Washington, have failed We The People with your bailouts, out-of-control deficit spending, government takeovers of sectors of the economy, Cap & Trade, government-run health care, and higher taxes! If you thought we were just going to quietly go away, or that this tea party movement would be just a passing fad, you were mistaken. We’re taking our country back!”

The grassroots movement continues.

2,300 Americans protest Obama in St. Louis

You're not hearing this from the mainstream media ... 2,300 turned out to protest President Barack Obama Wednesday in St. Louis. Gateway Pundit has lots of photos, video, and commentary. One sign said, "Follow the Constitution. We'll discuss your decisions in November." We the People continue to be heard.

To the Editor:

Our government has no authority to take over control of our health care!

How dare they "buy" the votes of Senators with our taxpayer money. Taxpayers will bear the unfair burden of promises given to Nebraska and others.

How dare they refuse to listen to their constituents — and sell us out.

How dare they be so arrogant — and not respond to faxes, phone calls, emails.

How dare they spend money our grandchildren will never be able to pay off.

How dare they trample what our founding fathers fought so hard to obtain — the freedom to control our own lives.

They work for us — and — we the people need to take back our government.

Remember this at election time.

5,000 turn out for Cincinnati tea party ... is a revolution brewing nationwide?

Cincinnati had a tea party on Sunday and 5,000 turned out. Michelle Malkin covered it on her blog.

Tea parties are brewing nationwide and many politicians are not listening. Over 150 tea parties are planned including gatherings in Virginia in Richmond, Charlottesville, and Virginia Beach (so far). Check for information about a tea party near you.

Glenn Beck headed up "We Surround You" parties nationwide last Friday.

So where is the media to cover these events? So far they are largely quiet.

Augusta County's Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, March 11, was a tea party only the supervisors still do not seem to realize that. This is a groundswell ... a movement of hard-working Americans across the country whose backs are breaking under the tax load.

It's not Republican ... it's not Democrat ... it's Americans standing up and speaking out.

It's We the People.

Sidelines Sports Pub in Waynesboro was the central Shenandoah Valley meetup spot for over 200 Glenn Beck fans to watch "We Surround Them" on Fox News Friday afternoon.

"We Surround Them!"

Steve Knupp, Operations Manager for WKCY, the radio station that carries Glenn Beck's conservative talk show, asks those present who were part of the "We Surround Them" group to raise their hands. Everyone in the pub raised their hands. We had packed the place!

"We Surround Them," the Glenn Beck special, will be repeated TONIGHT, Saturday, March 14, at 9:00 pm on Fox News Channel.

What an amazing event ... to be in the presence of 200 patriotic conservative Americans! American flags were on every table ... an American flag hung from the ceiling. All 10 TV screens were tuned to the Fox News Channel waiting for Glenn Beck's "We Surround Them" special when I arrived at 4:15. I walked in the door and the place was packed! There were familiar faces and new faces that quickly became friends.

It was standing room only. The pub had reached its 200 capacity by 4:45 and people were turned away at the door. Some went next-door to the sub shop where a TV was set up for them to watch the Glenn Beck special.

Sidelines owners Brad Harris and his dad, Joe, were greeting folks and helping organizer Sherry Helsel accommodate the crowd. Folks penned their names on name tags that said, "We Surround Them" ... "We Surround Them" signs were on tables ... a "We Surround Them" poster was available for folks to sign so it could be sent to Glenn Beck. Kudos to Sherry for the great job in organizing this event.

Radio station WKCY's Steve Knupp, home station of the Glenn Beck radio show, attended and handed out free CDs.

A cheer went up when Glenn Beck came on the TV and proclaimed, "The forgotten man is YOU."

And then scenes from 9/11 were on the screen ... the burning Twin Towers, President George W. Bush standing at Ground Zero in New York City saying, "We hear you. The entire world will hear you." The room erupted in applause and cheers.

As Glenn said:

On September 10, 2001, 19 men lay away knowing the terrible destruction they were about to rain down on America. America was busy playing politics with her head stuck in the sand.

On September 11, 2001, America was attacked.

On September 12, 2001, we came together as a country to work together and promised ourselves we would never forget what had happened to our country. U.S.A.!

Some have forgotten.

American has a choice. We can be the 9/10 America ... or the 9/11 America ...

... or we can be the 9/12 America and choose to renew the promise we made to one another. Remember it is We the People.

You are not alone. The mainstream media and those who want to tear down American seem to surround us but, in reality ...

... we surround them!

And so the 9/12 Project was born. The server for the website crashed during the program ... they had the largest server they could find and it still crashed from so many hits. Meetup.com said these Glenn Beck groups around the country Friday was the most traffic they had had since Howard Dean organized his presidential campaign in 2003.

Where is the mainstream media? Thousands and thousands of Americans ... perhaps millions ... nationwide gathered to make a statement. Where is the reporting?

They are missing We the People taking back America.
