Conservatives & free market supporters ... break away from GOP?

Norm makes an interesting observation about the just-completed Republican Advance. In Scenes from an "Advance," he writes:

I've said and written before that the future for conservatives and free market supporters lies not with the sun-blistered hulks of political parties, but in independent action. Nothing I've read or heard anywhere -- locally or nationally, changes my opinion.

But still remain open to persuasion.

I would like to have a dollar for every time I have heard that sentiment lately ... and the chorus grows louder on an almost daily basis....
