Business is booming at Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport in Weyers Cave, located between Staunton and Harrisonburg. Bordering Augusta and Rockingham counties, the local airport has seen political candidates pass through as well as thousands of Valley residents who house jets there or catch a United Express flight to Dulles Airport.Now Shenandoah Airport is growing again with plans for two additional hangars, repaving, and other needs. The money is coming from the Virginia Aviation Board and federal money. Charlottesville and Richmond airports also received entitlements.
