Target luncheon at The Foshay in downtown Minneapolis

The Roaring Twenties meet the Modern Age at the "W" hotel in downtown Minneapolis. Thursday's Target-sponsored luncheon was held at The Foshay in an elegant setting featuring Congressman Eric Cantor, Congressman Tom Davis, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, Atty. Gen. Bob McDonnell, former Gov. Jim Gilmore, Del. Chris Saxman, Del. Tim Hugo, the Ambassador from Ethiopia, Target CEO Gregg Steinhafel, and others.

About 300 guests dined on a selection of tomato gazpacho with shrimp, grilled chicken cobb salad, poached salmon, gourmet hamburgers, and an assortment of freshly baked cookies, mini cupcakes, mini creme brulees, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and assorted biscotti. We heard from Target's Gregg Steinhafel, Congressman Cantor, and Lt. Gov. Bolling as they reported on the hurricane relief efforts held throughout the Republican National Convention that raised over $1 million for victims along the Gulf Coast.

It was a beautiful setting that overlooked the Minneapolis downtown area. Our thanks to Target for lunch and the gift bags that were handed out aftewards.
