Republican Carolyn Hoaster of Staunton had her comment read by Bill O'Riley in tonight's No Spin Zone on The Factor. I know Carolyn, and I know she's a no-nonsense conservative.
Only thing was Mr. O'Riley pronounced our fair city with the broad "a" sound as in "Staun-ton" ... he added the "u" sound when, in reality, the "u" is silent and the "a" is the "long a" sound as in "Stan-ton." That's how we know the residents from the visitors....
Carolyn's comment was a slight slam on O'Riley, something about him not listening because he's too busy talking. Didn't get the exact quote (it happened so fast).
