Glacier photos from Alaska

From her travels in Alaska, my friend, who has heard through our email exchanges of the excessively high temperatures, wrote: "For our friends and family suffering in the heat, imagine you are sitting on this iceberg, feet dangling in the ice cold water with air temp of about 50 degrees. Hope this helps."
