SWAC Girl has learned that the Virginia House of Delegates and the Senate will reconvene Special Session I on Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond.
Both the House and Senate will convene at 11:00 a.m. after necessary caucus meetings held earlier.
Reportedly the sole purpose of Friday's Floor sessions is to elect judges at the statewide and lower levels. HB 5004 (congressional redistricting) is not expected to be addressed at that time.
Friday is to be a one-day session that may be completed by mid-afternoon.
